Desmond is a Ph.D candidate in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. His research interests are computational linguistics, natural language processing, and cognitive modelling. His academic homepage can be found here.

He previously completed an MSc by Research at the Department of Computing Science at the University of Glasgow and a BSc at the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.

He likes to listen to music, visit art galleries, cook, and grow vegetables in his garden.
